Advice for the credit crunch

I think I’m beginning to collect idioms, you more you think about them the more you notice …

Keep your head in a crisis, don’t bat an eyelid, keep a stiff upper lip, your shoulder to the wheel and your best foot forward. You need to tow the line, knuckle down and put in some good old fashioned elbow grease….
BUT if you think this is all too much and you just want to leg it, or you’re brought to your knees
then just throw your arms up in horror and surrender. So keep your ears open, this is sound advice, I’m not pulling your leg and it’s not at all tongue in cheek !
